2023-2024 Enrollment
Starting January 3, 2023, John Dewey Academy of Learning (JDAL) is accepting new students for the 2023-24 school year for students who will be in grades 6 through 12.

Enrollment Information
Application to and attendance at JDAL is voluntary and no tuition is charged. Students who do not wish to attend or are not admitted into JDAL may attend their neighborhood schools or seek enrollment in another Green Bay Area Public School District (GBAPS) school per GBAPS Board policy and Wisconsin’s open enrollment process.
There will be two enrollment windows. If the number of applicants does not exceed the established enrollment cap(s) all students eligible for admission will be accepted for admission and no lottery will be held. If the number of applicants exceeds available seats, a lottery will be employed for students. The names of students on the waiting list will be recorded in the order in which they were drawn.
Enrollment Period 1:
January 3 - January 31, 2023
(opens at 8:00 a.m. and closes at 4:00 p.m.)
Enrollment Period 2:
February 6, - April 28, 2023
(opens at 8:00 a.m. and closes at 4:00 p.m.)
GBAPS resident students and non resident students should complete the online application form above.
Out of district residents must also complete a regular open enrollment application. For more information and the open enrollment application (

Applicants will be enrolled in JDAL based upon space availability. To participate in the first quarter, students must be enrolled and registered for school by the last Thursday in August. Approved applications beyond this date, will have a start date that coincides with the start of a quarter.
*TRANSPORTATION: Parent/Legal Guardian is responsible for transporting students to and from school.
