The John Dewey Academy of Learning (JDAL) offers an innovative choice for 6th–12th grade students in the Green Bay Area Public School (GBAPS) District. JDAL provides students with the opportunity to thrive in collaborative, interdisciplinary, technology-rich learning environments. Students engage with the world outside the classroom walls by delving into the exciting world of partnerships with Green Bay area organizations and businesses; furthermore, students take ownership of their learning by synthesizing authentic projects that focus on topics relevant to their lives.

At the March 17, 2025, Board of Education meeting, the Board of Education approved a five-year Strategic Plan.

Players joined the students outside and played rugby as a part of a rugby seminar.

More than 30 GBAPS students are heading to the National History Day competition in Madison in May.
