Full-Time Online

Full-Time Online

Students in the Green Bay School District have a full-time online option at John Dewey Academy of Learning. Students who prefer to work from home or complete online coursework can design a personalized learning plan that meets their specific needs.  In addition to online coursework, students have the opportunity to participate in on campus courses and activities at JDAL and/or their neighborhood middle or high school.

HOW JDAL IS DIFFERENT
Every online student is assigned an advisor/coach who will help guide the student and their family through the online learning process from start to finish. The online advisor is the family's "go to person" for all school related questions. The family and the advisor work together to review the student's transcript, design a learning plan, select coursework, and conduct weekly check-ins.

The online advisor is also available to help coordinate academic or personal support from the online teachers, school social workers or counselors, etc.  While online learning requires a commitment to independent learning, online students always have access to the support they need to be successful.

Many online learners enjoy the flexibility online learning provides, working at times throughout the day that fit their schedule. Students at JDAL also enjoy being able to work on campus as often as they like as well as having the option to join project-based learning experiences and/or field trips.
